If I'm being 100% honest, I would have to disagree... Hear me out! Im a spiritual kid... meaning i literally grew up in this. Everything you are saying are all sayings made by what i would consider to be a fake spiritualist... They don't know what they are talking about and don't even know HALF of the way maybe not even 1/4. IN FACT! these are the same people i actively avoid... It is impossible for you to be 100% responsible for your own circumstances, god allowed free will meaning another's will is able to have an influence in your life, however in order to better control the outcomes you have to learn to control the mind and act more logically and less emotionally. You need masculine energy...The ego is never defeated only intertwined with the id. They must become balance. Reacting with anger is a sign you've been triggered! It's highly recommended you investigate that trigger if you would like to live a more peaceful life, and at the same time peace is determined by the individual. We might not have the same peace! Meditation is a moment to get answers from god... That might hurt... If you are hurting then it will definitely hurt. You have to come to an understanding with yourself to find peace. You can not control your thoughts you can only observe them. In order to find peace you must control your judgment toward yourself. Control how you feel about your thought, actions, and feelings! Always choose to love those parts of yourself unconditionally. I'm actually not sure what you mean by "rising above" but i don't think there is such thing as spiritual maturity. It's not even a term used by any of my tribe or my priestess... I would assume its close to an awakening, but you have many of those and there is really no point in counting... I personally just follow the 12 Universal laws and I think that's enough to align you with your passions and project you toward your purpose
